The Consolation Ministry is a group of parishioners dedicated to providing spiritual, emotional, and practical support to the ill,
the homebound and to those who have a death in the family. Consolation Ministers are trained. They visit and bring Communion to the sick.
When a death occurs, they help families by assisting with the planning of the funeral, helping in the church before,during and after the funeral Mass,
helping with other needs the family may have, and
extending support during the bereavement process.
