Natural Family Planning (NFP) is a system of fertility awareness. Couples use their knowledge of fertility to either achieve or avoid pregnancy, while honoring God and their marriage covenant. NFP is the only Catholic approved method of birth control. Practitioners certified in the Creighton Model of the Ovulation Method offer classes. These classes are held at three different times during the year, and couples are followed individually in 8 one-hour sessions over one year.
