"...a way to refresh your faith
and for the non-Catholic to learn what the Church teaches and believes"
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
The RCIA program functions to educate adults about the Catholic Faith and prepare them to enter the
Catholic Church if they so desire. It is an excellent way for the Catholic person to refresh their faith
and for the non-Catholic to learn what the Church teaches and believes. RCIA meets on Monday’s at 7:30 pm.
September through May.
RCIA Team: Team members are responsible for such things as greeting the candidates, leading small group discussion,
prayer, and making coffee.
RCIA Sponsors: While many candidates and catechumens choose their own sponsors, frequently members of the parish
volunteer to help in this area. Sponsors act as a friend and spiritual companion for the person journeying toward full
communion in the Catholic Church.
