Consolation Ministry

"Charity is the theological virtue by which we love God above all things for his own sake, and our neighbor as ourselves for the love of God."Charity bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." (Catecism of the Catholic Church 1822, 1825)

Consolation Ministry

The Consolation Ministry is a group of parishioners dedicated to providing spiritual, emotional, and practical support to those who have a death in the family. Consolation Ministers are trained. They visit and help families by assisting with the planning of the funeral, help in the church before, during and after the funeral Mass and by extending support during the bereavement process.
